If you are 15 years old, you can apply for your learner's permit immediately after you have received your packet from the state of Texas, have taken Virtual Drive or Texas Module 1, and have passed the required test from the DPS office.



You can get your
Texas Driver's Licence

If 16 years of age, have successfully completed Virtual Drive Driver Education and have had a valid Learner's Permit for a minimum of six months.

Your Virtual Drive Certificate of Completion can be accessed online

Does the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety approve this course?
YES! This course is fully approved the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. This course is the only state approved course designed specifically for the State of Oklahoma. The 3-CD pack you receive is all you need to get your license at 16 years old and receive a discount on your insurance.

Can I use this course for both of my children?
Each child must register individually to receive credit for the course. The first child in each household must purchase the program at full price, each additional child will pay $75 to be added to the online course or receive the CD’s. In order to qualify for this special price, the students must reside in the same household. Call 888-241-0896 for details.

How does 2-Pay work?
2-pay enables you to pay by credit card in equal installments. Half of the payment will be debited the day of purchase and your credit card will automatically be charged 30 days from the original date of purchase for the balance.

How old do I have to be to get my learner’s permit and license in Oklahoma?
The state of Oklahoma requires that you be at least 15 years of age.

• Must have had at least 40 hrs (10 hrs at night) of behind-the-wheel training from licensed driver at least 21 years old and licensed for at least 2 years
